Reclaim Parkland
It has come to our attention that over many years, we have lost usable space in our parklands. Over the last few years, some of our neighbors have been taking the initiative at the ball field located at the end of Springers Lane to clear the weeds, poison ivy, brush and fallen trees back to the fence line. We have been working with our landscapers to make sure we’ve resolved how this got to the state it was in. We are also in the final stages of getting a company to accomplish the same thing at “Bailey Park” (the sledding hill) and maybe some of the field line up to Limestone Road. At the bare minimum, we want to remove all the brush, poison ivy, and pricker bushes, so that, not only can we enjoy the view of the creek like we used to be able to, but we can sled down the hill safely and enjoyably.
